A little about me to help you get a sense of who I am.  I was born and raised in Blue Springs, MO. I also received an MBA from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. I now reside in Jacksonville, FL with my wife Ashley and our 2 children Sarah and Brooke. We also enjoy the company of our dog named Chief, 2 cats named KC and Jax, and a ball python named Zeus!

When I am not busy saving people money on their mortgages, I like to spend time Scuba Diving, Golfing, or woodworking.

Do I qualify to buy a home?

To qualify for a mortgage, lenders typically require that you have a debt-to-income ratio of "43/49." This means that no more than 43% of your total monthly income (from all sources, before taxes) can go toward your new mortgage payment, and no more than 49.99% of your monthly income can go toward your total monthly debt (including your mortgage payment). VA and FHA loans even allow for higher debt ratios on a case-by-case basis.
